We will be closed for the Moon Festival Holiday on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th Sept.
The Mid -Autumn Festival, or ” Moon Festival “ is one of the 4 most important festivals for Chinese families and takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. Friends and families traditionally come together to celebrate and eat mooncakes. These are a pastry which are usually round ( like the moon ) and contain all sorts of fillings from red bean to yolks from salted duck eggs !
Our Chinese staff will be celebrating with their families and so thank you for understanding that we will be closed for 2 days to allow them to do this.
We look forward to welcoming you to the store when we open again on Saturday the 21st September 9. 30am.
